MARSHALL

Marshall came to me at the darkest stage of his life, he was battling mentally and physically and had just about hit rock bottom. His addictions had taken control of him. He needed some guidance and support. He needed to start moving his body and looking after himself. We teamed up and began a program that involved lifting weights, high intensity interval training, playing sport and overall lifestyle and nutrition mentoring. Marshall had tried a few other trainers and fitness programs but none had worked. I was able to provide the variation in movement and coaching to keep him stimulated. His transformation was quite astounding! He lost over 20kgs in the first 6 months and continued to get stronger and healthier and more resilient in the following years of our partnership. He’s been able to implement all the things he learnt over our journey and make them a constant in his life. He is now based in New York and works in the music industry for the most prestigious record label in the world.

AISHA

Aisha and I have worked together for some years now. I provide her with a movement and exercise plan each week, which she follows from home and in her surrounding home environments. We manage to incorporate her two young boys in to the movement sessions. Each week we make a little bit of progress be it in body mass loss, strength gain, or in boosting energy levels. Aisha is a busy mum with a full-on schedule! So she makes movement and health a major priority to help her perform the other parts of her life to her best potential. Always seeking to improve, one of Aisha’s performance goals is to be able to do a full body weight chin up! We are getting close to this through the progress is strength programming and Aisha’s consistent hard work! Our weekly skype chats and feedback to me through our ‘check-ins’ gives Aisha someone to be accountable to, and allows me to track her progress and update things each week. 

JESSE

Jesse and I started in the gym together when he was in high school. He was enjoying playing rugby and wanted to get stronger and put on some more muscle. He hadn’t had any experience in the gym so it made my job very rewarding seeing positive results immediately. With Jesse’s program I make sure he does the fundamental strength movements in the gym (squatting, lunging, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting) with strong focus on correct technique, good intensity and with progressive overload to see continual improvement. It delights me to know Jesse has made working out and movement part of his everyday lifestyle!
